Frozen banana, peanut butter, and plant-based milk blend into a thick, creamy smoothie that works as a quick breakfast or post-workout snack. The banana provides natural sweetness, so no added sugar is needed. It takes under five minutes to make.

Instructions
Peel and slice the bananas, then freeze them for at least 2 hours if fresh. Ideally, use pre-frozen overripe bananas to intensify natural sweetness and yield a thicker smoothie base.
Add the frozen banana slices, peanut butter, almond milk, maple syrup (if using), vanilla extract, cinnamon, and ice cubes into a high-speed blender.
Blend on high speed for about 45–60 seconds or until completely smooth and creamy. The texture should be thick and milkshake-like, with no visible ice or banana chunks.
Taste the smoothie and adjust sweetness or peanut butter to taste. If it's too thick, add an extra splash of almond milk and blend again for 10 seconds.
Pour into chilled glasses and serve immediately.
Notes
For added nutrients, blend in a tablespoon of ground flaxseed, chia seeds, or a scoop of vegan protein powder.
Substitute peanut butter with almond or sunflower seed butter for a different flavor profile or nut-free variation.
If you prefer a dessert version, drizzle vegan chocolate syrup into the glass before pouring smoothie or top with cacao nibs.
