Fresh strawberries are dipped in melted dairy-free dark chocolate and chilled until set — a two-ingredient dessert that takes about 20 minutes of active work plus chilling time. Choosing a good-quality dairy-free chocolate makes a noticeable difference in flavor and snap. These keep well in the refrigerator for up to two days, making them practical for parties or gifting.

Instructions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside. Ensure strawberries are completely dry—any water can cause the chocolate to seize.
In a double boiler or a heatproof bowl set over a saucepan with simmering water (not boiling), melt the vegan dark chocolate, stirring gently with a spatula until smooth. This should take about 5–7 minutes. Add coconut oil (if using) and stir to combine.
Once the chocolate is fully melted and glossy, reduce heat to low. Holding a strawberry by the green top, dip it into the chocolate, swirling and lifting to allow excess to drip off.
Place the dipped strawberry onto the parchment-lined baking sheet. While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle with optional toppings like chopped pistachios, coconut, or pretzel crumbs.
Repeat with remaining strawberries. Transfer the sheet to the refrigerator for at least 15–20 minutes, or until chocolate is fully set.
Notes
For a beautiful marbled effect, drizzle additional melted vegan white chocolate over the dark-dipped strawberries in a zigzag pattern.
If strawberries are large, you may want to double the chocolate to ensure full coverage.
To prepare in advance, store the strawberries in an airtight container for up to 24 hours; line the container with parchment to avoid sticking.
